What Android Devices can be Updated to ICS(Ice Cream Sandwich)?

Recently, the hottest discussion on all the Android forums is that whether my phone can update to Ice Cream Sandwich or not. Several Android phone manufacturers, such as Motorola, HTC and Samsung, have announced the plan of updating to ICS, let’s see the details.

Motorola Mobility said on Tweet, Razr, Bionic and Xoom will get ICS update for sure, and they will confirm other products whether to update within six weeks of Google release the source code of ICS. However, Motorola removed this information, and change as follows: “We’ll be releasing devices for ICS 6 weeks after Google releases the final version of it.”, betimes


HTC, The following phones will receive the update of Ice Cream Sandwich: HTC Sensation, HTC EVO 3D, HTC Incredible S, HTC Desire HD, HTC Flyer, HTC Rhyme, HTC Desire S, HTC Salsa, HTC Desire Z. All the phones which have the HTC Sense interface will continue to use it, but the new HTC Sense interface with new Android 4.0 will be a substantial change.


Samsung, The following products will be recognized to get Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update in 2012, device list: Galaxy S II, Galaxy Note, Galaxy Tab 10.1, Galaxy Tab 8.9, Galaxy Tab 7.7 and Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, you can find out that all of them is the latest Samsung products, is there no ICS update for the old products? still no information.
