Which HTC Phone Will be Updated to Android 4.2 / Sense 5

After releasing of the HTC Desire 606w and Butterfly S, HTC is scheduling the Android 4.2 / Sense 5 update for the current phones such as One X, One XL and One XT etc. It is a good news for the users who bought the HTC flagship phones before. Wondering whether your HTC phone will update to Android 4.2 / Sense 5? Here is a list of update schedule shows up in a HTC info site from Japanese.

The list is classified according to the resolution

FHD resolution phones:
- HTC One and HTC Butterfly are both updated to Sense 5.
- Droid DNA, update scheduled, under testing process.
- HTC J Butterfly (Japanese version), update scheduled, under developing process.
- HTC Butterfly X920e, update scheduled, under developing process.

HD resolution phones:
- HTC One X, update scheduled, under developing process, expected to launch in August.
- HTC One X+, update scheduled, under developing process, expected to launch in August.
- HTC One XL, update scheduled, under developing process, launch date unknown.
- HTC One XT / XC, not enough information, maybe under developing process.
- HTC First, not enough information, but will not get Sense 5 update.
- HTC EVO 4G LTE, update scheduled, under developing process.

qHD resolution phones:
- HTC One S (original/special version), will remain current system version.
- Droid Incredible 4G LTE, under considering.
- HTC J（Taiwan/Japanese version), will remain current system version

WVGA resolution phones:
- HTC One SV, update scheduled, under developing process

HTC phones which is in smaller resolution than WVGA will not get Sense 5 update.
