CyanogenMod(CM) team has began working on CyanogenMod 10.2 since the day that Android 4.3 was announced on July 25th, we knew that CyanogenMod 10 is based on Android 4.1 and CM10.1 is based on Android 4.2, so CyanogenMod 10.2 is based on the Android 4.3, they call it a “Sweeter Jellybean”, as it brings a bunch of improvements to the current Android 4.2.2 system, such as low energy bluetooth, better photosphere, saving more battery, OpenGL ES 3.0 and many other humane improvements.
Now CyanogenMod team is going to cook the new CM 10.2 custom rom, it would take some days to released the first CM10.2 nightly build, but don’t worried about it would be taken a long time as their daily process report says most of the CM features is working fine with CM 10.2, and there are many pictures of developers’ self-build unofficial CM 10.2 rom running on several types of phones post on G+, like Nexus 4, Galaxy Nexus, Samsung I9100 and I9300, but they all have bugs.
So as a Nexus 4 owner, while you are waiting for the new build release, why not prepare something you must install after you update your phone with the CM 10.2, If you are a CM 10.1 user and have not update to stock Android 4.3, here is the list:
1. You need to update the new .84 Baseband from the Android 4.3 factory image for Nexus 4, as it is not included in CM rom.

2. Google native applications, aka Gapps, were not included in CM custom rom too, you need to install them by yourself, if you want all Google services features, such as Gmail, Google Play store, Google photosphere camera etc.

3. If you are using CWM recovery, you’d better update to the latest version 6.0.3.4.
