I download the factory images and install it vie Flashfire without wiping data, all things working good. As it is just one and a half weeks after Android 7.1.1 DP2 release, so there are not much changes, Nexus users still did not get the Round Icon layout, Blue color theme and fingerprint swipe down controls features.

New Camera NX V5.3 is live for download, it is modified base on the latest Google Camera v4.2.032, which was extract from Android 7.1.1 developer preview 2. In this new version I’d like to introduced the Hybrid-Burst mode, which is another exclusive feature for Pixel phones, I also fixed the video frame rate problem which was a side effect of the 240 fps hacks in version V4 for Nexus 5X.

After I posted the Pixel Navigation bar animation mod for Nexus 5X / Nexus 6P, I have received a number of people’s messages, they were asking me to port the animation to their Roms. So I have tried on some custom Rom and succeed in 7.1 Rom, like Oneplus One with AOSP Rom, HTC M8 with CM 14.1, and Nexus 6 running UBERSTOCK Rom, but failed with all the 7.0 Roms, maybe someone could pointed out if the failure is API related.
Let’s Bring the Home Button Animation of Pixel Phone to Nexus on Android 7.1.1
Google announced two Pixel phones on 9 October. These phones are coming up with new navigation bar, as an open source world, we have got the new white button of Pixel navigation bar, but all the mod was lack an interesting things, it is the Home button animation when activating Google Assistant, four dots slide out in each respective direction, and then quickly aligning themselves horizontally.
How to Enable the Partial Screenshot on Nexus 5X with Android N 7.1.1 DP1
Nobody has thought of that the ancient Screenshot feature will be updated on Android 7.1 which will be coming later this year for Nexus. Developers has found the code of this new partial screenshot function in the AOSP sources, and succeed in activing it on custom roms for Nexus 4. However it was also hidden in the latest Android 7.1.1 DP1, you just need to modify the SystemUI.apk to enable it.

Camera NX, aka the Google Camera 4.2 mod for Nexus 5X, which enabled the Burst mode, 240 fps slow motion and zsl (zero shooting lag) without HDR+ on the Nexus 5X, now I present the new Camera NX V4, with the awesome zsl HDR+ feature enabled for Nexus 5X / 6P.
